Can you overdo a topic?

Discussion in 'New teachers' started by mbarnes1989, Jul 25, 2011.

  1. Hi I'm just setting up my year 1 classroom ready for September and our topic is 'castles'. I've found some great resources such as self registration, drawer labels etc which are in that theme and think they will be great to get the children in the mood for the new topic.

I'm a bit unsure of whether that will be 'overdoing' the topic and the children may get bored. Any opinions on this are welcome! x
