Can you be outstanding and still have a life?

    True.
    All Teachers have good, not so good, indifferent and outstanding lessons. Those who think they continually operate at good or better have not taught IMO.

    I think you CAN be outstanding and still have a life, but my understanding of what 'outstanding' really means is not the same as the standard Ofsted/SMT definition.

    That's pretty much what's wrong with education, I think.
