Can I join you all?

  1. I had an interview at my current school today for a permanent contract as my temporary one is up in April.
    My confidence is at an all time low, I am in my 2nd term of NQT and getting hardly any support, have been a bit misled about the job from the word go, and now to top it all off I didn't get the job, and have got an awkward few weeks at school counting down to the Easter hols.
    There are so few jobs around ( I am currently only wage earner in our house) and I think we will have to sell the house. (if we can)
    So I am joining the ranks of jobseekers out there............

    Yes, Dreamer., come in and join us.
    You'll find that the posters on here are people who are very supportive and helpful of fellow JobSeekers, giving lots of tips from their personal experience.
    And I'll do my best to answer any questions you may ask me.
    Start off by opening the Welcome thread and reading the FAQs and the Shortlisting clickables in there. Lots of posters have found that changing to this system gets them interviews, and then jobs.

    The TES Careers Advice service runs seminars and workshops, one-to-one careers and applications advice, one-to-one interview coaching and an application review service.
    I do Application and Interview one-to-ones, and also contribute to the Job Application Workshops. We look at application letters, executive summaries and interviews.
