Can anyone recommend a short story that deals with prejudice and/ or discrimination?

  1. Hi, I have a low attaining year 8 class that I'm trying to tackle prejudice and discrimination with. I'm toying with using Mildred Taylor's The Gold Cadillac but just wondering if there was a more comtemporary short story that my pupils are more likely to relate to.
    Any suggestions welcome!
