Hi I was wondering if anyone could share any ideas. I am a PGCE student in a Reception class. As part of one of my assessments I need a MOS to do with recognising number. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me?

What is a MOS? And by "recognising number", do you means numerals (1, 2, etc) or quantity (eg. child can answer the question 'how many' in reference to a number of objects)?

Hi. A MOS is an oral and mental starter. And recognising number I meant the numerals rather than quantity

In my class we play "Show Me". I write a number on the board and the children have to show me that number of fingers. They then check with a partner.
