The local Vicar has asked if we had ever thought about becoming a Church of England school. Is this even possible?

Is the diocese prepared to stump up the percentage of funding that it would need to, for the school to be a church school? What to the governors say? What do the parents say?

@KFrances. I am not too sure about that one. I just work at a local authority primary as well.

Thanks for the replies. I was just wondering if it was possible in principle. It hasn't been discussed with anyone yet.
