  1. So I am planning for the theme 'Fiction accompanied by its adaptation for film or TV'.
I was wondering if any teacers had any titles which children especially loved and enjoyed. I had suggestions but the dvds were all pg. Is it only u we can show?

    Thanks for any help

'Sword in the Stone' and 'Once and Future King'
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
    The Jungle Book

  3. Thanks, I will check some of these now
  4. The Ruby in the Smoke? There's a BBC adaptation. That should be ok for year 6, I think.
  5. Or 101 Dalmatians? According to the BBFC, you can show a U or a PG (in fact, for 'educational purposes' you can show any film you like, but just using professional judgement).
  6. Oh, and Holes. Sorry, keep thinking of more once I press 'post'!
  7. Thank you very much for your ideas

The Sheep Pig / Babe . Even year 7s love it!
  9. Spiderwick Chronicles. Film is quite different to the book so good one to compare. Not sure what certificate it is though.
