Calling all poetry experts!

  1. I'm hoping to teach a week on poetry based around Springtime/Easter and wondered if anybody had any advice (I love teaching literacy but poetry is not my strength!)
Was thinking of doing a senses walk around the school grounds to get us started. Can anyone suggest a model to base our ideas on or to inspire us?
    Thanks in advance!
