Calendar - Maths - Year 3

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by s0700452, Feb 6, 2011.

  1. I am an NQT and being observed on Thursday in Maths. We are teaching Calendars in maths this week.
By Thursday I would like the LO to be: to interpret and use a calendar. Does anyone have a creative and fun lesson I can do around this objective? I am a bit stuck! Any ideas would be helpful!
    Thank you

Hi, I'm not a primary teacher, but I did try searching:
How about some of the suggestions here: http://www.primary-education-oasis.com/calendar-math.html
or the "Maths 4 Life" Thinking Through Maths resource here: https://www.ncetm.org.uk/public/files/573272/M4L4_00_02.pdf.pdf
