At an estimated cost of the measures taken in the UK against the epidemic of £300bn, and with an original projected death toll of 500,000 if nothing was done, I calculate that the cost to the nation has been well over a half million pounds for each of the 450,000 lives "saved".
Couldn't we have achieved the same result slightly more cheaply?

Yes, except it was not all about protecting the people. There will be a complete change in the world economic order following this debacle.

You need the DUP to keep the triple lock. They persuaded Theresa.

It's worse. That was 500,000 killed by the virus. Many would have died in any event.

Out in the wild world of this country, there are quite a few pensioners who feel the Government wish to see them die to save paying for them!
THIS is part of a conspiracy being spread, along with comments like the government is fascist and seeking to stop peop[e enjoying themselves!
It seems some in here which to compound such beliefs and seemingly add fuel to those fallacies!

If you look at the implications of what they have done and the way in which it has been done, in enforcing the lock down, you (general not specific) would be rather foolish to imagine they will not do it again and again, when it suites them. IMO:)
