I'm returning to work 3 days a week after my maternity leave. Any idea how I work out what my pay will look like after tax etc? I'm on m6.

Are you having ppa in school or being paid to do it at home? I'm on m6 and work 3 days a week but am on a 0.66 contract and take home £1395.
    Hope that helps

    tafkam's excellent pay calculator gives £1286 http://www.tesfaq.co.uk/pay
(assuming you are not London, and your school's M6 is the same as the notional national M6!)
I usually find this calculator to be pretty accurate, give or take a few quid (it's usually slightly lower than actual I find). NoIdeaWhy2's example of 0.66 gives £1388 for comparison.

Ask your payroll department to do the calculations for you with all deductions, that's what I did.
