BTEC Level 2 Information & Creative Technology - onscreen testing issues

Our third cohort of Year 11 students has just received their results for Unit 1 - The Online World. For the third time running, results are very poor. Students who have consistently achieved excellent results in mocks using retired papers are achieving Level 1 passes or just scraping a Level 2. We have used every preparation technique available and we know that students are very focused and revising diligently. We have asked Pearson to see marked "scripts" but they say that this is not possible because of the onscreen nature of the exam. As customers, we feel that this is an entirely unacceptable lack of transparency. We have invested heavily in time and expensive (Pearson!) resources to develop this qualification for our students and we are rapidly becoming disillusioned.

Is anyone else out there experiencing this problem?

this is the reason I came away from BTEC with Business as we were having the same issues; students revising did well on practice/past papers but when results came through very low with no feed back on their performance
