A couple of years ago I looked at
applying for this bilingual schools programme in spain but then I got my current job instead. I
now however would like to apply for it but can't find the information
online that I found before. Now there seems to be no application forms
and no email addresses of anyone within the programme.
    Does
anyone know whether they have stopped recruiting foreign
teachers/teacher? Is anyone working within the programme that could
give me an idea or any information? I would even apply to portugal if I could but can't find any information
    Thank you so much :)

This is all they are showing at present in the UK site:
    http://www.britishcouncil.org/new/about-us/jobs/folder_jobs/working-for-us/
You might be lucky if they advertise a job at their Madrid school:
    http://www.britishcouncil.org/spain/british-council-school
It gives details of bilingual schools: http://www.britishcouncil.org/spain/bilingual-schools-project-0

TheoGriff is being kind and helpful, as usual, but perhaps it would be wise to look at the bigger picture. Spain's economy is in a lot of trouble at the moment, with unemployment nearly 25%.

It is actually 41% in the province where I am sitting typing this . . .
But education is going pretty well - except for the private schools that specialise in preparing people to take the official state competitive exams for civil service posts. As there are fewer posts on offer, they have cancelled some of the exams in many areas.
Language classes are, however, going strong. I have 4 and 5 year-olds who go to private language schools in the afternoons after school.
    Best wishes
