Brexit and the Future of Languages in the UK

    Just like the rest of you, I am dearly looking forward to Britain's exit from the EU, but I do have to wonder what the future is going to be for the state of languages in our post-EU schools and curriculum. Will language education become obsolete, or will we look to other languages outside the EU, such as Chinese for our language requirement? Brexit can't come soon enough, but I admit I will be a little sad to see some languages lose their appeal, such as it is, for our schools.
