Anyone any inspired ideas for a non-curriculum afternoon activity suitable for a mixed group of children from all year groups?
    Feeling stuck for ideas

We have been left to decide what to do as long as each session has different focus.
So far sessions will include sewing / orienteering / painting pebbles...
30 ch from across school for 11/2-2 hours
    Thanks

Had this a couple of times in Schools and one was expected to change the activity each term.
A couple of ideas I've done for the 'wet' / can't go outside activities in the Aut/ Winter terms have been puppet making, kite-making, origami and making recycled materials bags. You've already mentioned sewing, but there's also cookery if you have facilities and lego-making always is a winner.

Pinterest can be great for looking at ideas for this. I'd add in clay sculpture as an option, basic photography (thinking about direction of light, subject matter), stop/start animation, making a school magazine, creating a new menu for the canteen and/or exciting packed lunches to give parents ideas.....
