Books you didn't think you'd like but loved?

    We need to talk about Kevin - took me about three attempts to get into it but once I did OMG!

    To kill a mockingbird. Only read it because my tutor group have to read it for English. They had to read to chapter 5 over the holiday and some of them were starting it today - tut tut!

    Fantastic book - but what about the recent follow up? The English teacher I spoke to didn't rate it highly - thoughts?

    Some interesting responses here but if I didn't think I'd like a book I probably wouldn't even start it.
