Books for less confident readers in lower ks2

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Jools1808, Jun 30, 2011.

  1. I've been told my class next year will be lower ability y3/4 and I'd like to buy some books for them over the summer. Can anyone suggest some books for lower ability children which aren't too 'young'? I know they will end up with Biff, Chip and Kipper otherwise and they aren't particularly inspiring when you're a bit older.
The children will range from P levels all the way to 3c, so I've got quite a mixture.
I'd also like some picture books for ks2 if anyone can suggest any?
    Thank you!
