http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...rojects-based-racist-stereotypes-study-finds/ We all know the long history of instutional racism in education. For the record, I am white. However, I've seen subtle differences in the way BME teachers especially black males are treated in the staff room and by some.slt members. I've seen young inexperienced white male and female teachers promoted early on and seen talented BME teachers kept in the same post or given lesser roles. It's easy for non BME teachers to dimsiss this but id like to here from BME teachers and their experiences.
