    Dear all,

We are starting to teach Blood Brothers for GCSE next year but I have not taught this before. We are trying desperately to get a school trip to the tour but have no guarantees. I know there isn't a film version but does anyone know if there is a version I can use in the class room; perhaps a DVD of a production/something like Digital Theatre?

    Any advice gratefully received!

You can certainly get a CD recording of the stage show. Liverpudlian accents, which bring the words of the play to life. I don't teach English but have seen the play a few times and I love listening to the sound track. Might be a good starting point.

I believe there is a teaching guide with DVD available (Amazon). I am so jealous - I love Blood Brothers. I wish I could teach it.
