Blogs for Children

Discussion in 'Primary' started by oopsydaisy007, Apr 13, 2011.

  1. Hi,
I have been using blogs with my class this year and we have been loving it!
They love having their own class blog because there is a real audience and I like using it as the plenary for some lessons and highlighting the importance of punctuation, editing, etc.
I also use my own blog with the class and I encourage them to use it from home to support them with homework, to consolidate learning and expand their use of the web. (http://classroompollock.wordpress.com/)
I would like to teach my class about the wonders of RSS feeds but I need some pupil friendly blogs to follow. If anyone has a class blog which would like more visitors or creative/fun blogs for children, then please respond to this plea :) Alternatively, you can leave a comment on the RSS Feeds post, with the link to the blog on http://classroompollock.wordpress.com/ .

    Thanks for your help!

    Jessica
