Blackberry email help please

  1. I've had an email from Blackberry today saying I have to revalidate my hotmail password by 21 July or I will not be able to receive or send emails on my device. I've followed the instructions but when the blackberry log in comes on screen+ I put in my email address+password, it comes up with the message that the user name box is blank - but it isn't! I'm feeling very frustrated trying and retrying. Anyone else had to do this on their Blackberry after about a year?
    It suggests you visit http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/kb13137 but it wasn't much use! I've even asked for the password to be emailed to the only email address Blackberry can possibly have. The message says it has been sent, but it hasn't arrived.

    Any ideas?
