    but I think Sainsbury's has won the Christmas advert prize.



    OK, perhaps it's not right resurrecting lovely Mog but I am enjoying it.

    Has this already been discussed? If it has I apologise.

    Streets ahead of all the others, particularly the JL one. JL peaked a couple of years ago! JS's is way better than last year's effort.

    I saw this last night... don't like the narrators voice. Doesn't have the right tone to me.

    But the rest of it is admittedly very clever and I enjoyed it.

    I do love the Mog books but this ad doesn't convey the simplicity of them. I find it mawkish, I'm afraid.

    They won't be able to claim on the home insurance if they did that! Idiots!

    They don't deserve to have a cat! Let alone a legend of a cat.

    I found that advert very stressful.

    My daughter (6) has all the books and she loved it. Me, not so much.
