I am trying to plan an activity for my birthday, for too diverse a group of friends. I don't think it is going to happen.
    People involved:
Myself, Layla, Nathan - relatively fit, looking for an activity based something.Very fond of a tipple or two of wine, and enjoy doing things as well as a nice evening out with good food and wine.
Eric - very fit, not giving to socialising as much as the above group but will, will have a little to drink - usually less than us. Terrified of water.
Jill - Very overweight and very partial to good food and good wine, not so partial to exercise.
Oh and partners are Layla and Eric, and Nathan and Jill.
I want to do an acitivity based day - surfing, kayacking, gorge walking, rock climbing etc, but only half of group would be up for that. Then thought about Archery etc., but really expensive (!!!!!) about £65.00 p/p per hour or hour and a half! That without travelling etc Could be much easier to organise if kill is left out of the equation, but she is the one for whom something like this would be ideal - an opportunity to get away from it all for a change after a very difficult year.
Oh and partners are Layla and Eric, and Nandrew and Jill.
I think I am going to end up doing meal and dinks as per usual.
I am living in South wales, so plenty of scope for activities just don't know how to include jill and Nathan!. Don't worry about the location though - just any ideas you have that may work:)
    Any suggestions welcome.
    Thanks so much,
    Domton
