Big Write ideas linked to Imaginary Worlds

    It depends where you are in the unit. We're spending 3 weeks studying Varjak Paw, so for the first week's big writing I did instructions for measuring temperature of a liquid (cross curricular from Keeping Warm), week 2 we did a newspaper report about the Vanishings (incident about half way through Varjak Paw) and for my final session this week (which I'm going to level) we're doing a diary entry for Varjak.

    hi, i hope you dont mind me asking but im due to start teaching in a year 3/4 class at some point this half term (depending on when the govorners let me out of my current post) and i have bought Varjak Paw to do with my new class. Could you possibly share your ideas? I havn't taught this age before and could do with some help!
