Winter is upon us.
It's falling and it's melting away. But oh I love the snow...
No snow here yet . . . instead, a stunning sky with little, pink clouds
Pfft. That sort of weather needs to man up!
Little patches of snow lurking in the grass but bright sun and clear sky here.
Just a sprinkling here but very cold and windy.
No snow here but northerly gale force winds are making it feel bitter.
Sleety here with a bitterly cold wind
Will just whisper this quietly but it's blue sky here although bitterly cold.
Blue sky, sunshine but cold.
The wind seems to be coming from an unusual direction here, got up this morning and have never seen so much movement of the trees in and around the garden before. No snow but just 2 to 3C, lit the wood burner at 8, first early start for it this year.
I woke up to a lovely, thick flurry but alas, it has dwindled into rain...
Are you in Birnham Wood or Dunsinane?
In LONDON? That is not fair. We should have it because we are much further north.
That made me giggle. Ah...
It snowed here most of last night but the sun is out so I doubt it will last.
I'm vastly amused by the news touting "five weeks to Christmas!" and then commenting in surprise at the snow.
Wild flurries on the Woodhead Pass last night meant driving was a little exciting.
A minor if persistent blizzard dropped a few millimetres in the early hours but it had all disappeared by this morning
Not enough to close schools, then?
Not on a Saturday anyway
