I was previously enrolled on SCITT from 2017 and due to personal problems I ended up taking a break in my teacher training. Rather than do nothing though, I finished the PGCE element successfully, but never followed up to get QTS having not gone back into schools.

I've been considering reattempting to get QTS starting from Sept 2020, giving me plenty of time to decide if I definitely do want to train up fully and stick with it.

What would be the best bet for me if I were to follow this up in terms of getting qts and funding/salary?

Just apply for jobs with your PGCE as many teachers do. They should support you with gaining your QTS in your first year.
