Best route for moving into subject development and resources etc. with the AQA

Quick background. Teacher of 22 years qualified as a 3D designer with secondary QTS, pgce in FE and many successful years teaching DT with features in Designing magazine and a portfolio of high quality project work. Roles as HOD and faculty leader.
I am very strong in the use of ICT and illustrate (using Pixar like 3D modelling) my own books. I make my own teaching resources and have already drafted out a student handbook. I designed the user interface for a 3D program acquired by Microsoft, done commercial design work for private clients etc. I am also an experienced moderator and examiner so I think I could be called a subject specialist.
As the subjects are currently being reformed I would like to move into subject development, co authoring a book, providing illustrations etc.
Any advice on who to contact with regards to this? I think I have a pretty unique skill set and the experience necessary for such a role but I have never seen anything like this advertised.

Well how bizarre, I went on the AQA web site and there was my perfect job....alas its in Manchester which is quite a commute. Still, will see if there is any room for flexibility there.

Good luck! If you decide to apply, you'd no doubt be one of the better candidates, if not the ideal candidate.

Thanks for the kind words. I have been looking for this opportunity for a while now. 22 years as a subject specialist with 16 years AQA examining experience, industry experience and a Masters in Education is no match for my enthusiasm for undertaking this kind of work.

No such luck, its only until September but its a chance to work on the newly reformed examination material so will be valuable experience and i cant think of a better reason for a break from teaching on future applications.
