Best icebreaker activities

    What are you favourite icebreaker activities and why? Thanks

    It all depends on the level of your students of course, but `I always rely on flash cards/ pictures. I choose two pictures, say a blossoming tree and a bare tree, or perhaps a plate of spaghetti and a burger and fries - no matter how ‘beginner’ your students are, they will have something to say, even if it’s just a word. And if not, they can smile at one of the pictures, and by the end of the lesson they should be able to say something like ‘I love pasta’
