Best Buddhism textbook?

I've been given some extra money and I've decided to buy a set of Buddhism textbooks. I'm thinking about getting Buddhism: A New Approach which looks pretty good.
But I would really appreciate any other suggestions for high ability GCSE/A-level range students.

    Thanks for your suggestions.
I hadn't heard of Warners book, so I'll buy a copy of that for myself. I think the Dominique Side book is a bit beyond what I need at the moment. I'm looking for something more accessible as an introduction, the use of which can be enhanced by individual research.
