Are there any 'one-stop-shop' textbooks for primary teachers in the area of maths and language that you'd recommend?

I've found the following in my local library:

Developing Language and Literacy 3-8 by Ann Browne
Mathematics Explained for primary teachers by Derek Haylock

Both appear pretty useful but I'm wondering if there are any others I should be aware of?

I would always recommend anything by Derek Haylock.

Also, I would suggest looking at 'Transforming Primary Mathematics - Mike Askew

If you are interested in developing talk and language, have a look at 'Making Number Talks Matter' - Humphreys and Parker. Sherry Parrish is also a name to look out for in connection with Number Talks and you can find some free to download papers by her and Mike Askew (Private Talk, Public Conversation is a good place to start).
