Was in Lidl earlier. Whole farm loads of meat in there. Plenty of beef.

I got spaghetti pasta the other day. No problem with meat in our town , so far, we have 2 butchers and they appear to be well stocked.

I think now that people are putting the stuff they wasted money panic-buying into the bin, the message might be getting through.

I wonder how many have had to resort to Alphabetti bolognaise since the pasta shelves have been empty?

Wouldn't another name for "a semi-vegetarian" be "not a vegetarian"?

Is there evidence of that? The panic buying was tinned stuff and pasta and toilet paper etc wasn't it? Unlikely they'd throw it out. More likely people are eating what they bought and not going out shopping?

I am not a strict vegetarian, no, but in normally circumstances I limit the meat and diary that I eat, for environmental reasons.

I normally don't buy beef at all. I love the taste, though. There wasn't any choice in the supermarket today though, if you wanted meat, it was beef. I am surprised and delighted to find any

My son lives in Tokyo, the government has decreed that each household will receive two facemasks and some beef. He is somewhat puzzled though grateful.

I think there is danger of serious vit D deficiency, maybe thats why the meat? or maybe just because they have it
