Becoming a Rights Respecting School....

I've recently become the lead for Rights Respecting lead in my school.

Can anyone suggest any activities / schemes etc. etc. that I could consider putting into place, on the way towards achieving the Silver Award for the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award? I am in the process of putting the finishing touches to the Bronze Award and am thinking along the lines of:-

    a) ongoing tasks or considerations that won't be too onerous for an already hugely overstretched staff, and
    b) fun but meaningful activities for a dedicated Rights Respecting day / week in school (children aged 3 - 11)

By the way, due to budget constraints, we can't really afford the materials on the UNICEF website, so I'm hoping for ideas that won't involve spending!!

    Many thanks!
