Becoming a Classics Teacher in Wales

    How far have you gone with the languages?
     
  2. I've done modules in Greek and Latin at OU level 2 and will do a Level 3 Latin this year.

    I'm sorry that I don't know what those levels indicate. Perhaps you could find a job in a prep school as Common Entrance isn't too demanding. Why don't you send a letter to prep school(s) in your vicinity to ask if you could do some observation of Classics teaching since you are considering that career. You never know, it could lead to an opportunity. BTW I would strongly suggest you consider getting a CRB clearance first, so you are able to reassure them. (It can take weeks and weeks!)
