I am really hoping someone can help me find a new product! I used to use John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Hair and have just found out is has been discontinued. (sob!)
On holiday, I am so lazy that I don't want to be blow drying my hair everyday - I just used to spray in the above, leave it and, hey presto, nicely tousled, non frizzy hair.
Please, please, can anyone recommend a good alternative that you have tried?
    Many thanks
  2. I use the Umberto Gianni one.

I buy a bottle of cheap conditioner when I get to my destination.
Before I go out into the sun I brush some through my hair.
At the end of the day I wash that out and then use my normal conditioner.
It seems to work and is far cheaper than any of the specialised products.
  4. That won't give the salty tousled look though.
  5. I will watch this thread with interest - though I'm not sure what you're looking for - an easy way to style hair or something to protect hair from sun and salt?
If the former, Toni & Guy also did a beach hair spray, but I don't know if they still do. It was great for tousled waves and volume, not so great for condition.
I'm currently trying for the first time Redken's colour protect spray. A little bit every day is supposed to protect from the sun. A bit more gives it a wet-look (or oily look, I haven't quite decided) for the beach. I won't know how well it really works until the end of the summer....
  6. I love redken stuff.

I'm really looking for something that I can use after a hard day's sunbathing and shower, which will leave my hair all tousled and wavy, for a I've-not-tried-too-hard kind of look. I've read up on lots of products but am completely baffled by the range out there, so thought some of you gorgeous girlies would let me benefit from your experience before I go and blow 15 or 20 quid on some rubbish, like I did last year, with the Bumble and Bumble stuff which just did nothing for me!

  9. If you are just going for waves rather than the rough textured look then you should just use a moisturising curl mousse.
  10. apparently this is good.....
  11. See, I don't like the idea of a "cool matte finish" .... I don't want my hair to be matte, I like it shiny....

Not quite sure what look you're after but I use this to add volume (and its matt) I really like it x

Ooh! I like the sound of the Schwarzkopf Got2B range and my sis has just told me about another one from someone called Fekkai - anyone heard of it or know if it's any good?
