Anyone who finds Zoom that exciting is clearly a prevert.

I love the official communication that was sent out. From the article:

In an email to staffers, New Yorker editor David Remnick wrote : “Dear All, As you may have read in various news reports today, one of our writers, Jeff Toobin, was suspended after an incident on a Zoom call last week. Please be assured that we take such matters seriously and that we are looking into it.”

    An "incident"?

    You can imagine the conversation:

"I'm worried about my teenage son. He spends all his time locked up in his room. I think he might be having incidents."

I hope he manages to survive this with dignity.
There's a world of difference between a quick w&nk in front of a camera and mic accidentally left on, and habitual routines of genuine depravity.
Nonetheless I expect lots of people will now be trying to track his key strokes.

To be honest, I'm not surprised it's all over the papers.

It could be worse - he could have been caught wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

This reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine. A chap in one of the houses opposite claimed he'd witnessed him in the act, and had video evidence. I thought the whole story was rubbish.

The blackmailer demanded a lot of money in return for his silence, which my foolish friend paid.

I doubted my friend would pay such a sum, but evidently the villain saw my friend coming a mile off.
