Tonight is when, especially Fight Club. Can't call it rubbish if you haven't seen it.
No just that... didn't want to run the risk of spoiling...
Yes, don't you go spoiling the plot for me.
I am not a massive Jim Sturgess fan but I shall watch / record - nothing to lose ?
Yes - am new to this . Just watched La Mante on Netflix and did back to back Témoins - am in danger of confusing all the plots though
I've just noticed that he was in Cloud Atlas, which I enjoyed. It will be interesting to see how he does here.
Yah - he was a bit ‘wooden’ on his last outing ( for me ) - some WW2 drama festuring Freddie Highmore
Thinking of starting Luther tonight.
Shhhhh. You're not supposed to mention Fight Club.
That said, I agree it would be silly to miss such a one-off film. Stands out a mile from the rest.
Close to the Enemy.
I enjoyed the first series. Paul Mcgann & Ruth Wilson were good. The second was a corker. I didn't finish the third as the characters were very plug & play, with Luther written & shot as a soulful saint.
I tried reading some Neil Cross a very very long time ago and gave up as it was just too gruesome
I watched the first series if Spiral years ago but couldn't get into the following series because of the violence, so avoided the current Spiral. Had watched Witnesses and just noticed La Mante on Netflix so will give that a go.
A friend introduced me to Black Mirror earlier in the year and I'm hooked - it's a cracking series, and is very much like the natural successor to the original The Twilight Zone. Our youngest gave us Netflix access for Xmas so I'm wading through them at a rate of knots. Now halfway through season 4 and I haven't seen a bad one yet.
Watch Stranger Things on Netflix. Fab!
Recommended by my son too but could not get into it
Seems popular with people who didn't live the era and who haven't read widely in related genres.
It's gone off here already...
Smash the full series now eh?
It's like EastEnders on steroids (not that I've ever seen EastEnders).
