BBC Primary Geography Survey

Discussion in 'Primary' started by suze82, Apr 7, 2011.

  1. We're currently working with the BBC to undertake a review of their Key
Stage 2 (or equivalent) Primary Geography sites with the aim to improve
and update their existing resources. We want to find out a bit more
about how you teach Geography in your Primary school, how you find
resources and what would be really useful for you in terms of Geography
planning, and we'd really appreciate your help!

survey is anonymous, and we will not share or publish this information
with any external sources. This survey is for research purposes only.

Thanks very much for taking part!

  2. Hi. I work at an International School in Al Ain (UAE) teaching through the English Curriculum. Have you any plans on including this in your research? We have to adapt our curriculum to suit our country (which is great) but may have an impact on how Geography is being taught based on the fact that people are becoming more 'global' now.
    Just a thought. [IMG]
  3. Hi, thanks for your feedback! Yes, we are looking at the concept of 'global', and how it fits in with the English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish curricula and would welcome feedback of how Geography is taught in other countries using the UK curricula.
If you'd like to take part in the survey, just tick England for your school (as you follow the English Curriculum).
