Baseline-comparing data from different 'tests'

Hi, does anyone know if there's a way to compare the data between 2 different baseline providers? I have a new pupil whose previous school used a different 'test' at the start of Reception and the score scales between the 2 tests don't tally. Wondering whether to retest using our provider but that might skew the end of year retest? Have googled but not found any results. Wouldn't it have been easier for them all to use the same type of scoring system? Would be grateful if anyone else who has been in this position could let me know how they got round this problem.
    Thank you.
