Been signed off from this Tuesday until next Tuesday. It is half term next week and my school are saying that because my sick note expires on Tuesday in half term my school are saying the following:
    A) I need to have my sick note extended until the first Monday back at school
Or b) I need a return to work certificate dated for the first Monday of half term

Any ideas? I thought that after a sick note expired you are automatically fit to work ??

    .

There aren't any sick notes any more, they are all called Fit Notes, I understand.

You most certainly do NOT need to have a Fit Note extended through the holidays. They are not working days.

    Best wishes
