Baby moving up higher at 35 weeks- is this normal, I look weird!!

Discussion in 'Pregnancy' started by cath1980, May 23, 2012.

  1. Hi, I am 35+4 and my baby seems to have moved up very high, bunched up below my ribs which is causing that area to be very hard and I have a burning sensation from how packed it feels. Below my belly button is soft and the way it was before I was pregnant. It is making me look a very strange shape and just wondering if this is normal, I thought that a baby would be moving down rather than up!

  2. I dont mean to be the bearer of bad news but by 35 weeks I'm not sure there is a comfy position - my second engaged early and ouch (but down below). Plus the toilet trips.....

  3. I got that weird soft, squid sensation under my bump at about that stage too and baby was shoved up under my ribs. Dropped down after a while though.
