She was exquisitely beautiful and faultlessly elegant but va-va-voom? No, no, a thousand times no.
    Bad Renault, bad
  2. Katherine Hepburn did, however.

yes she did, and Catherine Deneuve does
  4. Absoluement. I haven't seen the relevant Renault advert but had to respond.

  5. Now thinking - Scarlett Johanssen does not have va-va-voom. Cameron Diaz does.
Matt Damon does. Christian Bale doesn't.
I like to think I have va-va-voom, but I may be wrong.
  6. Audrey Hepburn didn't need va va voom. She had a neck like a swan and THAT little black dress. Oh and Hubert Givenchy on tap.

It's Renault's marketing department that lacks va va voom. These are the people who a few years ago were trying to sell the horribly mis-shapen Megane on the basis of it having a cute ****. It's a bloody car for heaven's sake.

  8. The Clio has certainly lost its Va Va Voom with this ad. I fail to make sense of it. Papa and Nicole, I understood. Even " Size Matters" ( 4 cm) and I did sort of get Va Va Voom until this last ad. (Personal opinion).

The characters may have been picked via a facebook vote (I've definately seen one running although not sure if it was pre or post shooting of the ad) x

"Will you look at that! Look how she moves! It's like Jell-O on springs. Must have some sort of built-in motor or something"

and have a curvy rump and bust
  17. Am now beginning to work towards a definition of va-va-voom and what was the other term sorry short term memory loss while typing etc:
    a wiggle
curvy "rump" (love that word) and chestal area
one leg longer than the other?
    obvious sex appeal
    big hair?

Audrey Hepburn, on the other hand, was elegant, graceful, hyper-chic, smooth, tasteful, cool,
sophisticated. What similar term could we apply to her then? Any suggestions?

    True :)

I'm not disagreeing at all, she's a favourite actress of mine.
  19. Matt Damon?? Are you having a bubble?? [IMG]
