at risk of redundancy

Discussion in 'Pay and conditions' started by jalbert4, May 7, 2012.

  1. Any advice would be welcome- I am a teacher employed centrally with a dual role (half of my week is spent in school, other half working in my locality). I am now at risk of redundancy and a restructure means that I am being invited to apply for a newly created role that is not STPC. The school part of my job is not at risk, therefore it looks as though I could end up being employed as a teacher in the morning but not during the afternoon. Is this something that has happened to anyone? Not sure whether I can fight against this (union not a great help...)
