  1. Hi all Im looking for some advice for my essay due in on friday its on
the national curriculum basically looking at the background to it and
looking at the arguments for and against a core curriculum considering
how this impacts upon teaching learning and assessment. I have my
content and have read a lot im just having trouble structuring it so
that the arguement flows well and makes sense at the moment feel as
though i keep making the same points!!I think im generally exhausted
from so many assignments i cant think clear anymore :( any advice or
tips would be very much appreciated

    Introduction - explaining the question.
Brief summary of the background to the NC.
Two or three arguments (depending on the length of essay) for a core curriculum - based on your research. "X argues that a core curriculum has a positive impact on teaching because..."
Two or three arguments (again, depending on the length of essay) against a core curriculum - based on your research. "Y argues that a core curriculum has a negative impact on learning because..."
Conclusion - your own opinion, perhaps backed up with some of your own experience, but relating back to your research and which arguments you agree with most.
    Good luck!
