I have an interview for a maths post abroad and they may ask me about assessment strategies for the grade/level I will be teaching. Any advice on how to assess KS3 and GCSE? I'm a music teacher usually but I've taught maths at schools before as I have an A level in maths. All I can remember is giving students their levels for each year group. They may also ask how I plan my year. Would follow the schemes of work set by the department head be a good enough response do you think?
