Assessment software

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by hammer12, Mar 11, 2008.

  1. Does anyone use any assessment software? If so what type and how are you finding it?

Our school are curently looking into changing our current assessment record keeping and I have been sent a demo version of Classroom monitor www.classroommnitor.co.uk that looks quite good.

    Any advice/opinion greatfully appreciated.

    Regards

  2. Try looking at the assessment spreadsheets for the OCR Nationals at www.ictaph.co.uk

We also use the help2learn Primary ICT Assessment, pricey, bit clunky, pain setting up new users all the time but does a good job, lots of room for peer and self evaluation, target setting, even accreditation if you want to score high on the ICT Mark (that is irony by the way).

  6. Hemming Education produce some very affordable software that allows you to specifically assess to subject level descriptors.
Request the ICT Module when you get in touch with them. [IMG]

  7. Set up a spreadsheet with the column headings you want?

All this searching the net when they could have set it up in ten minutes. But they are primary teachers!
