Aspirations/Going for Goals Class Assembly

Discussion in 'Primary' started by cheeky21, Jan 29, 2012.

  1. Evening all,
I'm doing an class assembly on the theme of aspirations/dreams/going for goals.
The message is children can achieve their dreams if they have faith and try their best etc
Needed some ideas about famous people who have achieved their dreams despite obstacles?

Nonsense can they! Ability is also a factor.

I'm doing the same assembly this week - I've focussed on a climber called Jake Meyer (found this another assembly website!). My pupils have really enjoyed learning about him, particularly the boys. I also challenged my children to find their own role models, and they came up with Barack Obama, Martin Luthar King, Susan Boyle and Jamie Oliver.
    Hope this helps!
