AS contact hours

Discussion in 'Independent' started by eatyourveg, Feb 16, 2011.

  1. How much do you have per subject? From asking around, it seems the average is between 9 and 10 hours a fortnight. My school is between 8hrs 20 and 8hrs 50 and wants to drop it by 35 mins. results average around C/D. What can I do to get them to stop the cut?

I imagine you'd have to try to prove a direct grade/contact hours correlation, which could be tough. We have 8 hours a fortnight and average A/B, the norm around us is 9 hours but our classes are somewhat smaller so the extra attention seems to average out.
