Is this the sort of Science that the govt wants to hear ?

Time to bring in masks in secondary schools.

They wear masks in Israeli secondary schools. It would appear to no advantage.

    That is an interesting article.

for me I will go with what the head teacher tells me to do. Simple as that.

Because they didn't distance and when the weather got hot, they stopped wearing masks (the govt made a national exemption for four days)...

    and the inevitable happened.

Numerous studies show the clear benefit of mask-wearing. I would go as far as to say that people spreading misinformation about masks are actively dangerous to public health.

Is it misinformation though? Scientists need to be universal on this and they aren’t. Saying it’s misinformation is just as dangerous... with respect to you.

    Yes. It is misinformation.

Stop with the "don't wear masks" nonsense please.

    Masks will keep people alive.

Excuse me? Where have I said that?

    Are you ok today?

Do you support wearing masks in secondary schools?

If it’s necessary yes. I’ve never ever said contrary to health and safety regulations. An apology would be nice.

It's is necessary. Why do you think it is not necessary?

    It will save lives.

I don’t think it’s unnecessary. I’m big an expert like you. If my Head teacher says wear one I will wear one. I’m not taking this lightly. I’m stunned you think I am.

Waiting for the head to tell you to protect those around you (and to a lesser extent yourself) by masking up does suggest you're taking this lightly, and arguably breaching your duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Is your head a public health expert or a scientist?

We should be wearing masks in school. It will save lives. The evidence is abundant and strikingly clear.

I think I’m guided by the Head teacher as under the advice from the DfE which I’ve read every sentence. So you are talking absolute nonsense.

Maybe we should. But this is not a universal opinion and I’m going to do what my boss tells me.

No. We should. The evidence is clear. Masks work.

Neither is evolution, climate change and a spherical earth. But it is the clear consensus.

    Workers of the world rollover.

They had a heatwave, they took them off (there are reports on this).

    We've seen the result.
