Art Insight offers students the chance to independently research themes and explore ideas at the British Museum.

Using the guidance of specialist team of artists and the British Museum’s collection, students have the opportunity to develop ideas, experiment with materials, draw in galleries, practice lateral thinking, risk taking and make links with contemporary art practice.

On Thursday 18th February at 2pm contemporary artist and British Museum Trustee, Grayson Perry CBE will be giving a free talk to students about his art practice. Tickets are available from the Art Insight welcome desk in the Clore Education Centre on a first come, first serve basis from 11am.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop sketch book and portfolio work out of school in a supportive environment.

Sessions are FREE, no teachers required. If you are interested please do share with students at your school or contact the learning department at the British Museum for more information
