    Hi all
I'm trying to link my art with my science for the first half of summer term. My science topic is light (and also circuits!). Y3/4.
Does anyone have any "bright" ideas? [IMG]
    I've come up with:
    • silhouettes, perhaps with pastels or water colours blended as a background.
    • drawing (something) with a focus on shading and shadows
    • making some kind of suncatchers/stained glass windows using acetate paper?
    • artist study - but no idea who!
Anything that anyone is willing to share would be great, thanks in advance!

  3. jam jar painting for a candle inside?
piccasso had a 'rose period' and 'blue period' (i think!). You could recreate pictures using 'warm colours'?

I just posted some ideas but had my post referred to a moderator. That's never happened before.[IMG]
  6. You could do something on Van Gogh's Stary night painting. Perhaps make a circuit to make it light up?

There are a few modern artists who do silhouette work too - how about Cornelia Parker?
